Nevada Judiciary

The citizens of Nevada can be proud of their judiciary! The fifth annual report (Part 1 | Part 2) of the Nevada Judiciary documents some of the ways courts have been resourceful in handling the increasing number of cases that comes with the stunning growth in Nevada. Along with detailed looks at improvements to the judicial process, the report examines the caseload in our courts. Also in the annual report are descriptions of the structure, function, and funding of the courts. Of course, biographies of the justices are included along with pictures of justices from the first 100 years of statehood. The annual report also includes a tribute to the late Justice Myron Leavitt and acknowledgements of the accomplishments of retiring Justices Miriam Shearing and Deborah A. Agosti.
