The Nevada Supreme Court has scheduled a Public Administrative Meeting for Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. This hearing will be a continuation of the meeting held on December 14, 2007. On the agenda are proposed amendments to Supreme Court Rule 217 to convert the existing IOLTA "opt-out" program to a "comprehensive" program, possible amendments to the Nevada Short Trial Rules, and a general discussion concerning the Nevada Judicial Council.
The hearing will be held in the Clark County Regional Justice Center, 17th Floor, in Las Vegas and will be video-conferenced to the Supreme Court in Carson City.
