| Changes to Order Concerning Representation of Indigent Defenants |

The Nevada Supreme Court has modified its January order that mandated sweeping changes in the way legal representation is provided to indigent defendants in criminal cases. The justices postponed implementation of the changes and ordered the Indigent Defense Commission, which had recommended the reforms, to reconvene and consider additional issues. The Supreme Court detailed the changes in an order filed Friday, March 21.
