| Supreme Court to Hold Public Hearing and Consider Comments on Proposed Amendments to Nevada Rules of Appellate Procedure |

The Nevada Supreme Court has scheduled a public hearing for Monday, October 6, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. on proposed amendments to the Nevada Rules of Appellate Procedure. An order filed on July 28, 2008, explains how to participate in the hearing and how to submit written comments regarding the proposed amendments. The proposed amendments may be obtained from the Supreme Court Clerk's Office or downloaded from the Court's website. The hearing will be held in the Courtroom on the 17th Floor of the Regional Justice Center in Las Vegas and will be videoconferenced to the Courtroom of the Supreme Court in Carson City.
