Supreme Court to Hold Public Hearing and Consider Comments on Proposed Uniform Rules of Practice and Proposed Stock Interrogatories for Medical Malpractice Cases

The Nevada Supreme Court has scheduled a public hearing for Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. on proposed Uniform Rules of Practice for Medical Malpractice Cases and proposed stock Interrogatories for Use in Medical Malpractice Cases. An order filed on September 25, 2008, explains how to participate in the hearing and how to submit written comments regarding the proposals. The proposed Uniform Rules of Practice for Medical Malpractice Cases and proposed stock Interrogatories for Use in Medical Malpractice Cases may be obtained from the Supreme Court Clerk's Office or downloaded from the Court's website.

The hearing will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. in the Courtroom on the 17th Floor of the Regional Justice Center in Las Vegas and will be videoconferenced to the Courtroom of the Supreme Court in Carson City.
