The Nevada Judicial Conduct Code Commission recently launched its own website on the Nevada Supreme Court's website. Visit the Commission's web page to view details of the Commission''s ongoing evaluation of the 2007 ABA Code of Judicial Conduct. Meeting dates, agendas, minutes and drafts of proposed new Judicial Canons and Rules are posted. All Commission meetings are open to the public. Meetings are scheduled for October 3, November 6 and 7, and December 4. Judges, lawyers, and interested members of the public are encouraged to submit comments and concerns to the Commission about the current Nevada Code of Judicial Conduct, the 2007 ABA Model Code of Conduct, and the Commission’,s proposed new Canons and Rules for Nevada. Commission meetings are video-conferenced between the Nevada Supreme Court's Las Vegas and Carson City courtrooms. All meetings start at 9:30 a.m. and adjourn at 4:30 p.m., except that the November 7 meeting will end at noon.
