Data Management Team
The Data Management Team supports the courts in Nevada in meeting the requirements of the Supreme Court to electronically capture, store and forward case information to the State and other local criminal justice entities. This support is especially beneficial to courts which have limited financial and technical resources to implement advancement of technology.
To assist the courts with their automation needs the AOC launched several technology improvement programs, one being the Nevada Court System (NCS) program. The Nevada Court System is a user-friendly, Supreme Court sponsored case management system that is centrally located and maintained by Information Technology (IT) professionals at the AOC. This state-of-the-art case management system allows trial courts to maintain their local business practices while standardizing case, case flow, calendar, and financial and statistical information management. The NCS program team also offers user meetings and statewide enhancement and/or refresher training sessions.
Infrastructure Support Team
The Infrastructure group is responsible for all aspects of the computing environment at the Court. The group is responsible for network operations, servers, PCs, phone systems, printers, copiers, scanners, Help Desk, and network backup. The Infrastructure group is also responsible for a safe, secure, easy-to-use, and reliable computing environment for the Court. The Infrastructure group works along side the Trial Courts and DoIT in supporting network connectivity throughout the State of Nevada.
Integration Team The Integration Team designs, develops, deploys, and supports electronic justice information exchanges for courts and other criminal justice agencies in Nevada. The team currently supports exchanges with numerous courts, law enforcement agencies, the Nevada Department of Public Safety, and the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. Electronic citations, dispositions, and DMV convictions are just a few of the exchanges already developed and deployed. The continued growth of information exchanges in the justice community decreases operational costs for courts while also improving the quality of justice for Nevada.
Supreme Court Application Support Team
